"This is a band that I’ve hoped and prayed would someday exist — four (now three with the addition of a guy drummer, but still) bitches in fishnets and leather jackets who birth Le Tigre post-punk fed through a Nirvana machine."

-- MTV Iggy

Juck Juck Grunzie is a psychedelic noise-rock band from Seoul, South Korea.  Marrying irregular rhythms and chaotic soundscapes with a driving punk-rock ethos Juck Juck Grunzie’s music explores the boundaries between dreams and nightmares to create something dark, mysterious, and hauntingly beautiful. The band erupted onto Seoul’s underground scene in 2007 as four-piece all-girl post-punk outfit performing “Hairspray Queen” at a Nirvana. cover show. After playing the show clad in nothing but their underwear Juck Juck Grunzie established themselves as force in the alternative scene in traditionally conservative South The band has emerged as one of the most prominent band in Seoul’s Hongdae scene (the center of sub-culture in S.
